Fellowship Meeting Minutes – June 6, 2019

Parish Picnic (07/20/19)
  • We are once again planning a Parish Picnic following the Saturday night 4:30 pm mass
    • The meal will be catered by Moonlite BBQ again this year.
    • We plan to have games and activities for people to enjoy.
    • Flyers will be in the bulletin the weekend of June 30th.  Signup Genius will go live that weekend.  Signup sheets will be available the weekend of July 7th.
    • We are looking for people who would like to help with the event this year.
    • Anyone interested in assisting should contact Mary
Father’s Day (06/15 & 06/16)
    • Items were selected to be given away on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day weekends.
    • Fellowship committee members will find people to help with distribution at the masses.
Future Events
    • We have several annual events that are currently in the planning stages.
      • Trivia Night (September 2019)
      • Chili Contest (November 2019)
    • Anyone interested in helping with any of these events would be welcome to attend any of our meetings or contact Mary Payne
We are currently looking for individuals who are interested in promoting a sense of community and fellowship at Good Shepherd by planning and hosting events for our fellow parishioners.  Meetings are held at 7:00pm in the small conference room on the second Thursday of each month. Our next meeting will be on July 11th.  For more information, please contact Mary Payne.

Fellowship Meeting Minutes – May 2, 2019

Lenten Soup Dinners
    • The Soup Dinners were a fantastic example of Fellowship and those who came were able to learn more about the mass and enjoy good food and fellowship.
    • A heartfelt “THANK YOU” to all those who contributed to the meals by bringing soup, sides and even desserts!

Fellowship Meeting Minutes – February 14, 2019

Lenten Soup Dinners
    • Fellowship will once again provide soup for any one who wants to come over after that Stations of the Cross.
    • Stations will be at 5:30 pm on Friday’s during Lent with Soup and a Word on Fire video afterwards.
    • Rita will contact people about bringing soup.  We will try to have three options each week.  Anyone interested in bringing soup should contact either Rita Mattingly or Mary Payne.
    • Fellowship members will split up the duties so they do not have to attend every week.

RCIA Reception

    • A reception for those in entering the Catholic church at the Easter vigil will be held following the vigil.
    • Anyone interested in assisting should contact Mary Payne

Fellowship/Hospitality Meeting Minutes – August 09, 2018

 Parish Picnic (07/28/18 after 4:30 mass)
 We briefly discussed how the Parish Picnic went.
 We were very pleased with the turn out and hope to be able to continue this next year.
 Parish Trivia Night (09/08/18 after 4:30 mass)
 We decided the following items about the Trivia night:
 10 Rounds of 10 Questions each
 8 People per team, at least high school age
 We discussed offering pizza, snacks/dessert after mass with the contest starting at 6:00pm
 Deadline to sign-up is Thursday, September 6 th
 Kari and Mike Syroney have volunteered to help Mark put together the questions and scoring sheets
 An email will be sent out to team members looking for potential topics for questions
 Future Events:
 November (11/10/18) – Chili Cookoff

Anyone interested in helping with one of these activities, please let me know.
 The next meeting will be September 13, 2018 at 6:30pm in the Good Shepherd Choir Practice Room.
