Second Sunday of Advent – Year A (12/07/2019-12/08/2019)

  • Ministry sign-up sheets for Christmas and New Year’s Masses are in a binder in the Narthax.
  • There are 2020 calendars in the Narthax for anyone who would like one.
  • This year Good Shepherd’s Giving Tree Program will be collecting monetary donations for our Sister Parish in Haiti and for Missionary work in Bosnia. A collection box is in the Narthax by the Christmas tree.
  • Next Sunday, December 15 following the 10:30 am mass we will be setting up the Christmas trees and stable.  Please plan to stay after mass next Sunday to help if you can. 
  • Children from 3rd-8th grade are welcome to join our annual Children’s Christmas Choir, which will sing at the 4:30pm Mass on Christmas Eve. See Melanie after Mass for more details.

First Sunday of Advent – Year A (11/30/2019-12/01/2019)

  • The next Over 50’s Mass and Luncheon is this Wednesday. A sign-up sheet is in the Narthax.
  • Good Shepherd is hosting a cluster reconciliation service this Sunday at 1:00pm.
  • Children from 3rd-8th grade are welcome to join our annual Children’s Christmas Choir, which will sing at the 4:30pm Mass on Christmas Eve. See Melanie after Mass for more details.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe – Year C (11/23/2019-11/24/2019)

  • The next Over 50’s Mass and Luncheon will be Wednesday, December 4th. A sign-up sheet is in the Narthax.
  • If you ordered Cheeseballs, they are ready to be picked up after Mass this weekend. For those that did not pre-order, there is a limited number of cheeseballs available for purchase.
  • Good Shepherd will host a cluster reconciliation service on Sunday, December 1st at 1:00pm.
  • This week, our School Mass will on Tuesday morning at 7:40am. We will still have our regular Masses on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, but Thanksgiving Mass will be at 9am. See the bulletin for a full list of times.
  • The Parish Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday. There will still be Mass on Friday morning.

  • We would like to thank our 5th graders for hosting hospitality with cookies and donuts after all Masses this weekend. They will greet you in the Narthax after Mass.

Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year C (11/09/2019-11/10/2019)

  • There will be no Mass or Adoration this Tuesday or Thursday due to Father Zach being on vacation. There will still be School Mass on Wednesday morning with Father Will.
  • (4:30pm only): The chili cook-off will be in the cafeteria following Mass.

Thirty-First Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year C (11/02/2019-11/03/2019)

  • There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthax for our annual chili cook-off, which will be next Saturday, November 9th after the 4:30pm Mass.
  • Veterans – Please join us for Mass on Wednesday morning, November 6th at 7:40am and a reception immediately following in the school cafeteria.

Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year C (10/26/2019-10/27/2019)

  • We would like to thank our 6th graders for providing hospitality after all Masses this weekend. They will be handing out cookies and donuts in the parish hall after Mass.
  • Our new Pre-School classrooms will be open for tours after Mass, and following the 10:30am Mass there will be a Blessing of the Classrooms.
  • There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthax for our annual chili cook-off, which will be on Saturday November 9th after the 4:30pm Mass.
  • Friday is All Saints Day, and our school Mass will be at 7:40am. On Thursday, we will have a Vigil Mass and Memorial for the deceased beginning at 5:30pm.

Twenty-Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year C (10/19/2019-10/20/2019)

  • The Knights of Columbus will be in the Narthax after Mass selling tuition raffle tickets.
  • There are forms for our annual Cheese-Ball fundraiser in the Narthax.
  • There will be no Mass and Adoration on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday this week due to the priests’ convocation. There will be a prayer service with the school on Wednesday morning at 7:40am.

Twenty-Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year C (10/12/2019-10/13/2019)

  • The Knights of Columbus will be in the Narthax after Mass selling tuition raffle tickets.
  • Confirmation will be next Saturday, October 19th.
  • There are forms for our annual Cheese-Ball fundraiser in the Narthax.
  • There will be no Adoration this Thursday, October 17th due to the diocesan Respect Life Celebration. If you are interested in attending, Mass will be at 5:30pm. Sign-up online if you would like to attend the dinner and discussion that follows.

Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year C (10/05/2019-10/06/2019)

  • The Knights of Columbus will be in the Narthax after Mass selling tuition raffle tickets.
  • There are still several openings for the Fall Festival Booth. Please check the schedule in the Narthax if you are able to volunteer.
  • Ruth’s Circle will meet this Thursday at 9:00am.

Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year C (09/28/2019-09/29/2019)

  • We will be kicking off our annual Catholic Parishes Campaign this weekend.
  • All are welcome to join Father Zach and their pets for the St. Francis Blessing of Animals at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 5th by the picnic table outside the entrance to Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
  • There are sign-up sheets in the Narthex for October’s Over 50’s gathering, this Wednesday at 11:30am.
  • We are in desperate need of help for volunteers to work our Fall Festival Booth. Right now we have less than 50% of our shifts filled, and especially need volunteers to help work on Friday and Saturday. Please sign-up in the Narthax if you are available.
