VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED!
The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival is nearly here! Good Shepherd Parish will once again have Booth #25 located on the North side of Franklin Street between 10th and 11th Streets.
We need your help to make our Booth a success. We have many available shifts that need to be filled to keep the Booth open the entire week. We have three and two hour shifts available. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work in the Booth but younger volunteers 11 to 15 years old can also be used to sell drinks outside the Booth.
Three hour shifts are:
8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
11:00 PM – 2:00 PM
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
8:00 PM to closing (approximately 10:00 PM)
Two hour shifts are every two hours beginning at 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM (i.e. 8:00 – 10:00; 10:00 – 12:00 etc.)
(Please allow enough time to park and walk to the Booth before your shift.)
We serve Giant Tenderloin Sandwiches, Corn Dogs, Munchen Rolls, “Just Rennie’s” Cookies and Pepsi Products, Iced Coffee and Lemonade
We will also need volunteers to help make the Munchen Rolls on Monday and Thursday evenings September 20, and 23, from 5 PM to 7:30 PM in the Parish Hall.
Working in the Booth is a lot of fun and gives you a chance to meet other parishioners. Grab a friend and sign up for a shift(s) today.
Sign-up sheets are available in the Narthex of the Church or call Ruth Becker in the Parish Office.
All proceeds from our Booth go directly to our twinned Parish in Haiti; St. Rose of Lima.
